Primary: 7:00AM to 3:00PM Secondary: 10:00AM to 6:00PM, 11:00AM to 7:00PM, 3:00PM to 11:00PM and 11:00PM to 7:00AM
Summary:
The Environmental Services Aide performs a variety of cleaning tasks, in order to maintain the Hospital in a sanitary and orderly manner.Strives to incorporate the philosophy and mission of Mount St. Mary's Hospital and Lockport Memorial Hospital to incorporate the Hospital's goal of:Quality care in a personal manner with total regard for individual human dignity.
Mount St. Mary's Hospital consists of multiple locations and associate may be assigned as needed.
Responsibilities:
EDUCATION:
- High School Graduate/or Equivalent
EDUCATION
- High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required.
EXPERIENCE
- No Prior experience or training required - on the job training provided.
- One (1) year floor and carpet care experience in a health care facility or hospitality preferred.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY
- Maintain logs
- Reasoning Skills: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one or two step instructions.
- Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no language skills.
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence.
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients and other employees.
- Mathematical Skills: Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's.
- Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume and distance.
