Groundskeeper

The Hotel Groundskeeper will be responsible for the overall maintenance and upkeep of the hotel grounds and landscaping on a daily basis in order to achieve and provide a clean, comfortable, presentable and positive guest experience. The Groundskeeper will support general hotel maintenance and grounds keeping functions as directed. Responsibilities: Clearing all trash, weeds, brush and debris from the hotel grounds on a daily and consistent basis. Responsible for watering all plants and flowers located on hotel grounds. Responsible for weeding, mulching and tree trimming whenever necessary or as directed. (This will require the use of equipment such as sheers, blade saw and other gardening tools.) Maintenance of plant life throughout the hotel. Sweeps or blows all hotel roadside entrances, walkways and hotel back areas. Qualifications: Must have valid driver's license to operate a golf cart on property. Must be able to work with a crew in all weather conditions. Previous experience operating with essential equipment such as mowers, trimmers, utility carts, weed eaters, plows, lifts, etc. Work cohesively with co-workers as part of a team. Work well under pressure of organizing and attaining production schedules and timeliness. Follow directions thoroughly.
