Resort Housekeeper - Part Time

OVERVIEWResort Housekeepers are responsible for regularly cleaning resort facilities, buildings and rental properties to ensure the resort remains presentable and sanitary at all times.JOB DUTIESCleans, sanitizes, and stocks areas with products as needed. Ensures all tables and chairs are clean and functioning properlyCleans and sanitizes appliances to ensure they are free of food particles, mold and mildew. Defrosts freezer as neededCleans and sanitizes bathrooms, ensuring they are well lit, and places rubber mats down to ensure safetyFollows all established safety procedures and precautions. Reports all unsafe or hazardous conditions, incidents, accidents, and/or defective equipment to their managerEnsures that the overall appearance of the resort, buildings and facilities are well maintained and orderlyEnsures all floors are swept, vacuumed, mopped, waxed, and buffed as neededEnsures that all windows and screens are clean and functioning properlyMaintains washers and dryers by wiping surfaces, removing lint, etc.Ensures all offices and buildings are clean and neat. Empties trash containers as neededEnsures all vents and filters are cleaned and changed as neededOther duties as assignedREQUIREMENTS High School Diploma or GED (Required)6 months previous experience cleaning homes or other large facilitiesDemonstrated knowledge of general janitorial workKnowledge of safety measures when using various cleaning chemicalsAbilities to lift at least 25 poundsBasic computer proficiency including the ability to use email and internetMust have a valid driver's licensePERKS & BENEFITS
