It takes a village and working in our bag room requires effective team work and an unwavering commitment to excellence. Often, this is a members or guests first warm welcome to the golf department and often a fond farewell – you are a significant contributor to creating a world-class golf experience. While managing the day to day operation with the Bag Room, responsibility will include, not limited to the following.

  • Graciously greets all members and their guests while providing world class hospitality.
  • Oversees golf cart cleanliness ensuring carts are stocked with tees, sand, towels and carts are fully charged.
  • Inspects daily cleanliness of fleet carts, practice range carts, manager carts, flat-beds, and member carts.
  • Maintains high standards of cleanliness in the cart barn and bag room area.
  • Oversees the proper level of operational supplies such as: teas, sugars, scorecards, cups, straws, lids, lemonade, coffee, towels, and bag tags. Communicates supply requirement to Director of Play.
  • Responsible for Club’s Rules and Regulations enforcement.
  • Responsible for golf bag storage cleaning and storing members and guests bags.
  • Responsible for Rental Club inventory.
  • Having a good understanding of the golf courses layout, local rules, and amenities to assist golfers effectively.
  • Answering phone calls and radio calls accordingly.
  • Organizes the golf bags for members by scheduled times.
  • Golf Cart Maintenance: regularly inspect and maintain golf carts to ensure they are clean, charged, and in proper working condition.
  • Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of the cart barn, unloading, cleaning golf bags and emptying trash receptacles.
  • Enforce golf course rules and regulations, especially regarding cart usage, to ensure the safety of players and the preservation of course conditions. (2 in one cart)
  • Communicate effectively with bag room supervisor and other staff members to coordinate proper rotation and provide excellent service.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and lift heavy objects (such as golf bags) repeatedly throughout the shift.
  • Keep work area stocked with necessary items such as folded towels, tees, pencils, sand buckets/shovels.
  • Basic mechanical skills to perform routine maintenance on golf carts, such as air in tires, curtains being rolled, carts being wiped down and disinfected.
  • Effective daily inspection of iPAR Course Management System is setup and functional throughout club car fleet.
