Custodian (2nd Shift)

The Pickerington Local School District (PLSD) is seeking interested applicants for a Custodian (2nd shift) position at Pickerington High School North.

This is a 12 month position. Work hours are 2:00pm - 10:30pm.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or GED equivalency.
• Preferred previous custodial work experience.
• Ability to maintain buildings, grounds, and equipment.
• Experience operating heating and ventilating equipment.
• Ability to read basic operating instructions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of technical building systems (or ability to learn).
• Ability to lift, push, pull, or carry 80 pounds.
• Ability to perform manual labor for extended periods.
• Demonstrated aptitude for successful task completion.
• Ability to contribute to a safe, clean, positive, and comfortable environment.
• Ability to follow directions and demonstrate a strong work ethic.
• Friendly and dependable.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Ability to work effectively with students, staff, and parents from diverse populations.
