Qualifications:

Applicant must possess a high school diploma or GED and pass a State Competency Test, if applicant has not held a prior position within the classification for the job posting.

Job Summary:

Keep building clean and free of trash, to operate the heating or cooling systems and to make minor repairs. Also may include the supervision of other custodial personnel.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Everyday cleaning
• Ordering of cleaning supplies
• Supervision of other custodians
• Keeping grass mowed
• Doing maintenance on tractor, oil change, etc.
• Changing mower/plow on tractor
• Keeping snow plowed in winter and walkways cleaned
• Salting walkways in winter, as needed
• Monitoring sprinkler systems
• Running weed eater
• Stripping and waxing floors
• Applying polyurethane to gym floors
• Doing small maintenance on building
• Opening building and preparing it for school each day
• Overseeing heating system in winter
• Ordering heating oil
• Small painting jobs as needed
• All other duties that may be reasonably assigned.

Salary:

Term of Employment:

Employment is for 18 days for the remainder of the 2024-2025 school year and shall be 261 days for each year thereafter.

shift being: 6:00 am - 2:00 pm (Monday - Friday)
