Magdalena is hiring server's, hosts and bar tenders "immediate hire" (Anaheim) Magdalena Kitchen & bar 2100 E Katella Ave near 104 compensation: 16.50 per hour employment type: experience level: senior level job title: servers, hosts and bar tenders Magdalena Kitchen & Bar is hiring server's, hosts and bar tenders Job duties include but not limited to the following: Servers: * Taking customers' food and drink orders * Collaborating with the kitchen and bar staff for prompt and correct delivery of orders * Memorizing the menu and recommend appetizers, meals and drinks from restaurant wine stock * Delivering a memorable dining experience by resolving all customer issues promptly * Assisting with the tidying of tables, clearing leftovers and keeping the dining area neat and pleasant * Setting tables and rearranging the dining area to accommodate larger groups and prepare the restaurant for special events Ensuring cooking utensils and kitchen area are cleaned after closing to comply with state regulations Hosts: * Greeting customers as they walk into the restaurant * Helping guests with reservations and guiding them to their table * Giving guests accurate wait time estimates and seating them in the waiting area * Providing customers with menus and answering any initial questions they may have * Optimizing seating at different tables to ensure even workload for wait staff * Answering phones and scheduling reservations with large parties Bar backs: Tidy up tables, counters, and other bar areas. Collect empty glasses and bottles. Restock the bar with alcohol, straws, coasters, and napkins. Stock liquor in liquor storage, which requires going up multiple stairs. Prepare mixers, juices, and cocktail garnishes. Replenish peanuts and fruits.
