Akkodis is seeking a Building Maintenance Technician for a Contract to hire job with a client in Wilton, CT. This role involves performing preventive maintenance and repairs on facility equipment.
Note: Shift: - 3rd Shift - Mon to Fri - 600 pm to 600am (2/2/3)
Rate Range: $24/hour to $31/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Building Maintenance Technician job responsibilities include:
Performing preventive maintenance activities on facility equipment, including measurement of wear and replacement of expendables.
Completing repairs on HVAC, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and other equipment.
Documenting preventive maintenance activities and work order completions within the CMMS.
Conducting general building repairs, such as repairing and painting walls, doors, and floors.
Diagnosing and repairing malfunctioning apparatus, including transformers, motors, and lighting fixtures.
Maintaining building lighting, task lighting, and electrical distribution systems.
Desired Qualifications:
Minimum of five to seven years of mechanical experience, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry.
Three to five years of maintenance experience.
Valid driver's license.
Ability to read and comprehend instructions and effectively present information to customers and clients.

Pay Details: $24.00 to $31.00 per hour
