Description

Position Title: Human Resources Receptionist

s To: Director of Human Resources

Supervises: N/A

Summary of Position:

The Receptionist is responsible for greeting and acknowledging team members and other visitors. Responds to inquiries and directs guests to the appropriate human resources staff.

Essential Duties include the following: Other duties may be assigned.

Answers iing telephone calls, screens, calls, and refers to the proper management for handling. Assists directly with the routine inquiries.

Answers routine inquiries from inside and outside thepany on employment verifications, benefits claims processing, and job openings in line within writtenpany policy on these matters

Interacts with department customers in a polite and professional

Responds to team member requests for forms, policy/procedures, etc. when appropriate.

Directs department customers to appropriate department staff as needed;

Assists other human resources areas as needed.

Ads to all regulatory, departmental, and casino policies and procedures, and to the casino Internal Control Structure;

Maintains department supply inventory and equipment.

Receives and distributes department mail

Performs other duties assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

T are no supervisory responsibilities in this position.

Education and/or Experience Requirement:

High School Diploma or GED

Excellentanizational, data-entry, clerical, verbal and writtenmunication skills

Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and data-entry

Ability to maintain the highly confidential nature of human resources work

Must pass a pre-employment drug screening

Must pass a pre-employment criminal background investigation

Mescalero Apache Tribal preference, bicultural experience

Must have proven record of dependability

Ads to all regulatory, departmental, and resort policies and procedures.

Physical Demands

The physical demands described are representative of those that must be met by a team member to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.

While performing the duties of this position, the team member is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The team member must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Work Environment

The work environment characteristics described are representative of those a team member encounters while performing the essential functions of this position. The noise level in the work environment is loud. The team member will be exposed to a second-hand smoke-filled environment, dust, cleaning solvents,pressed air, excellent to extreme weather conditions and high voltage electricity.
