The Bar Lead is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the bar, ensuring exceptional service, maintaining inventory, and upholding all safety and compliance standards. This role requires strong leadership, bar expertise, and the ability to drive sales while maintaining a high-quality guest experience. The Bar Lead will work closely with management to align bar operations with overall restaurant goals, implement promotions, and contribute to a positive team culture. Additionally, the Bar Lead will assist in creating, promoting, and booking events that enhance the bars ability and revenue.
Job Responsibilities:
Your role as Bar Lead will include, but are not limited to, the following responsibilities:
- Leadership & Operations
- Supervise bar staff, ensuring efficient workflow and excellent customer service
- Train and mentor bartenders on drink preparation, presentations, and hospitality standards
- Develop and maintain bar policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with company and legal regulations
- Manage ber opening and closing duties, ensuring all tasks are completed correctly
- Provide a welcoming atmosphere and engage with guests to enhance their experience.
- Recommend drinks and upsell premium selections to maximize sales
- Handle guest concerns and resolve issues professionally
- Work closely with the General Manager and leadership team to align bar operations with overall restaurant goals
- Provide input on seasonal drink menus, pricing strategies and promotional events
- Assist in the creation, promotion, and execution of bar-related events (eg. happy hours, themed nights, tastings etc.)
- Work with management to develop strategies that attract guests and increase bar traffic.
- Communicate key bar performance metrics, trends, and challenges to management
- Monitor and manage bar inventory, working with the General Manager on placing orders as needed to maintain stock levels
- Track alcohol sales, manage pour costs, and minimize waste in order to maximize profitability
- Work with management to develop seasonal drink menus and promotions.
- Ensure compliance with all alcohol service laws and company policies
- Enforce responsible alcohol service and monitor guest intoxication levels.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, following all health and safety guidelines.

Compensation: Hourly ($18.00 - $19.50)
