Client is seeking a Sr. Receptionist & Switchboard professional for a dual-role position supporting both front desk and hospitality functions. This role involves answering and transferring calls, greeting visitors, coordinating meeting rooms, supporting administrative tasks, and assisting with kitchen and event services. The position is located at 2000 Avenue of the Stars, Suite 400, Los Angeles, CA 90067. Business casual dress is required. No free parking is available; candidates must use public transportation or paid lots.
Responsibilities
Greet and assist all visitors and guests
Distribute visitor badges and issue employee access cards
Answer and transfer incoming calls from across the U.S.
Schedule meetings using the firms room management tool
Place catering orders and support food/beverage setup and breakdown
Clean and stock kitchen and pantry areas; maintain coffee machines
Participate in company and community service events
Perform light administrative tasks and PC support duties
Issue company loaner cell phones and update internal contact lists
Assist other teams with tasks such as envelope labeling and compiling manuals
Understand and support various work areas as needed
Serve as a model for company Vision, Values, and Mission
Build and maintain professional relationships with internal teams and visitors
Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum 2 years of switchboard or front desk experience
Proficient in MS Office Suite, especially Word and Excel
Excellent customer service, communication, and organizational skills
Ability to multitask and manage diverse responsibilities
Work is primarily sedentary but may involve walking to temporary office space during renovations
Minimal physical effort; occasional light lifting (under 10 lbs.)
Must be available for virtual interviews
