Part-Time Housekeeper Wanted, Marina District

The Marina Motel, a family-owned boutique motel in the heart of San Franciscos Marina District, is looking for a reliable and detail-oriented part-time housekeeper to join our small, friendly team.

We take pride in our charming property and peaceful garden courtyard, and we're seeking someone who shares our commitment to cleanliness, hospitality, and guest comfort.
Were especially interested in applicants who are also open to helping at the front desk from time to time ideal for someone with a flexible skillset and great people skills!

Job Details:

Part-time, approximately 23 days per week, with potential for more

Shifts are from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM

Typical shift is 8 hours, including a paid 30-minute lunch break

Flexible schedule with some weekend availability preferred

Performance-based quarterly bonuses

Responsibilities Include:
Housekeeping Duties

Cleaning guest rooms and bathrooms to motel standards

Changing linens, towels, and restocking supplies

Handling laundry, including washing, drying, folding, and restocking

Vacuuming, dusting, and maintaining common areas

Reporting maintenance issues promptly

Optional Front Desk Duties (if qualified/interested)

Greeting and checking in guests

Answering phones and responding to guest questions

Processing payments and managing reservations

Providing local recommendations with a friendly attitude

Ideal Candidate:

Previous housekeeping or hospitality experience is a plus, but not required

Front desk experience is a bonus

Punctual, detail-oriented, and self-motivated

Friendly, courteous, and confident in guest-facing roles

Comfortable around pets (some rooms are dog-friendly)

Able to climb stairs and lift up to 25 lbs
