Runner Dining Room -Bacchanal- Steady Extra (Caesars Palace LV)

JOB SUMMARY:

The primary responsibility of Food Runner Server is to provide prompt, warm, welcoming and courteous service. Ensure an extraordinary level of service that exceeds guest(s) expectations, while graciously accommodating every and all feasible requests. Food Runner is to expeditiously and safely serve, present, and announce the ordered menu items to table. Food Runner may be responsible to expedite all food, and ensure food items are correct prior to serving. When engaging with guests. Food Runner will adhere to the proper expectations and standards of Stanton Social Prime. Food Runner will work diligently and respectfully with all team members.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Serve food in a safe and expeditious manner.
• Ensure food order is correct prior to serving.
• Present and announce all food items at time of service.
• Be attentive to all guest(s) needs, while graciously accommodating any and all feasible requests to best of ability.
• Carry multiple dishes (up to 3 at one time) in one hand without tray service.
• Course CGS as needed or requested.
• Prepare, maintain, and clean work area / station.
• Ensure work area / station is adequately stocked at all times.
• Consistently communicate efficiently and efficiently with FOH / BOH teams.
• Assist team members when all tasks have been successfully completed.

PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS:

• Knowledge of food and beverage products including allergens and related preferences.
• Ability to perform basic / intermediate math skills.
• Knowledge of food and beverage products.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English.
• Ability to communicate efficiently and effectively with guests, team members, and public.
• Ability to multi task.
• Ability to engage with guests.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Work requires one year previous food server / food running experience.
• Work requires effective communication in English, both verbal and written form in a professional manner.
• Must present a neat and professional appearance.
• Work requires schedule flexibility which may include nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
• Must possess basic reading, writing and mathematical skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Work requires the ability to work in a team environment.
• Work requires a strong level of attention to detail.

EDUCATION:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

LICENSE/CERTIFICATE:

• Food Safety Team Member Training required
• SNHD Food Handlers Card

PHYSICAL, MENTAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS:

• Fast paced, high volume environment involving constant interaction with team members, guests, and public.
• Shifts may vary based on business needs.
• Must be able to professionally and graciously manage challenging situations.
• Standing for extended periods of time. Bending, reaching, and lifting up to forty pounds repeatedly throughout shift may be needed to fulfill job duties.
