The Concierge plays a vital role in delivering personalized and memorable guest experiences at Hyatt Regency Boston. As an ambassador of the hotel, the Concierge assists guests with reservations, recommendations, and special requests while providing world-class service that reflects Hyatt's values of empathy, integrity, respect, inclusion, experimentation, and wellbeing.

The pay for this position is $26.50 per hour.

Responsibilities:

The responsibilities outlined below are provided as a representative sample of the essential functions of this position and are not intended to be an exhaustive list; additional duties may be assigned as necessary

  • Greet guests warmly and provide tailored assistance to enhance their stay.
  • Offer recommendations and make reservations for dining, transportation, tours, and local attractions.
  • Answer guest inquiries promptly and accurately, both in person and via phone or email.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the Boston area, including special events, shows, and restaurants.
  • Coordinate special guest requests, including personal shopping, celebrations, or VIP arrangements.
  • Maintain guest profiles and logs of requests (electronically) to ensure personalized future service.
  • Liaise with other hotel departments to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Handle guest concerns with professionalism and escalate when necessary.
  • Uphold Hyatt standards of service and presentation at all times.
  • Ensure the Concierge desk and surrounding area remain clean, organized, and welcoming.

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 1 year of experience as a concierge or guest service agent.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
  • A genuine passion for service and problem-solving
  • Familiarity with Boston landmarks, attractions, and transportation options
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and hotel property management systems
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
