Overview:

Sentara Obici Hospital in Suffolk, VA is hiring a Cook for the Food Services Department

Shift: Full-time, Rotating Shifts (Hours from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and some Morning/Day Shifts, with one weekend on and one weekend off.

(Up to $2,000 Sign-on Bonus for qualified candidates)

Prepares all hot foods for patient trayline, cafe, and functions including (but not limited to) entrees, vegetables, starches, and bakery items.

Experience in Lieu of degree/diploma will be accepted.

Education

  • High School Grad or Equivalent / Experience in Lieu of degree/diploma will be accepted.

Certification/Licensure

  • Food Handlers Card - Certification - Food Service Certification (as required by local Health Department).
