Food Service Assistant Manager

? What You'll Do
As the right hand to the Food Service Manager, you'll help steer the daily flow of our kitchen while serving up quality eats and exceptional experiences. From cooking delicious menu items to supporting your team and keeping operations running smoothly, your leadership will set the tone for success.
Food Prep & Quality Control
Hands-on involvement in preparing and cooking menu items including pizzas, sandwiches, fried foods, salads, and more.
Operate, maintain, and monitor kitchen equipment such as fryers, grills, ovens, and pizza ovens.
Ensure all food meets recipe specs and quality standards every time.
Support portion control and uphold food safety handling practices.
Team Leadership & Development
Reinforce food safety, sanitation, and service standards daily.
Provide constructive feedback and assist in performance evaluations.
Inventory & Supply Management
Monitor stock levels and help manage inventory to avoid shortages or overages.
Support ordering, receiving, and inspecting supplies for quality and accuracy.
Champion waste reduction through proper portioning and storage practices.
Customer Experience
Ensure quick, accurate, and friendly service during every shift.
Handle customer concerns with professionalism and care.
Engage with customers and promote daily specials and featured items to boost sales.
Health & Safety Compliance
Maintain a clean,anized, and sanitary environment in line with health codes.
Support kitchen inspections and ensure food safety logs are up-to-date.
Assist in supervising sanitation procedures and equipment upkeep.
Operational Excellence
Adapt to customer flow and shift demands by managing resources wisely.
Contribute to process improvements that elevate speed, service, and product quality.
Uphold high standards for cleanliness, safety, andanization at all times.
What It Takes
Prior food service leadership experience (convenience store, gas station, or fast-food environments preferred).
Strong people management and team-building skills.
Food safety certification and knowledge of local regulations a plus.
Proficiency operatingmercial kitchen equipment.
Outstandingmunication and customer service instincts.
Physical stamina to work on your feet and lift up to 50 lbs when needed.

Pay Details: $22.00 to $25.00 per hour
