Adecco is hiring immediately for a Hospitality Specialist for a local client in Houston, TX!
Pay rate: $22.00 per hour
Location: Onsite in Houston, TX 77002
Shift availability: Mon - Fri, 9am - 6pm Central Time (candidate must be flexible with their schedule and available for overtime)
Responsibilities for this Hospitality Specialist position include but are not limited to:
Follow established guidelines and procedures for receiving, documenting,anizing and distributing client kitchen supplies.
Set up and take down food and drinks.
Potentially will be moving chairs and rearranging tables in a conference rooms.
Maintain, stock,anize and upkeep of kitchens.
Load and unload dish washer.
Cleaning and maintenance.
Ensure customers request to set-up meeting rooms in a timely matter in accordance to CLIENT'S standards and instructions given by the client.
Exhibit ability to take verbal instructions while taking notes to properly respond and handle client service requests.
Provide immediate attention and acknowledgment to customers entering the kitchen area in accordance with CLIENT's standard of operation.
Perform a walk-through of various floors to inspect and ensure that all rooms are clean, stocked with supplies and ready for the next meeting.
Cleaning, dusting and other incidental tasks as assigned.
Excellent customer service skills, goodmunication skills, ability to multi- task, do not mind cleaning up after others.
Monitor and listen to customers to understand inquiries and requests in order to provide accurate and prompt assistance with meeting room set-up and clean up.
Requirements for Hospitality Specialist:
Be personable, articulate, knowledgeable and professional in presenting oneself in a professional setting.
Ability to learn skills quickly.
Flexibility in dealing with simultaneous projects.
Attention to detail.
Ability to function with a high level of patience, tact and diplomacy in handling anyplaint situations.
Ability to lift or move 40 lbs. or greater.
Fine and/or gross motor skills, including the ability to grasp, lift and/or carry or otherwise move packages on a standard wheeled cart with a load capacity of 100lbs.
Ability to walk, bend, kneel, stand, and/or sit for an extended period of time.
Manual dexterity required for operating office machinery (phone, copy machines, binding equipment, etc).
Working knowledge of Microsoft products pertaining to the specific position including but not limited to Outlook, Word, and Excel etc.
Reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required.
Visual acuity.
Excellentanizational andmunication skills.
Strong initiative required; ability to work independently with minimal direct supervision.
Qualifications for this Hospitality Specialist position:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Minimum of 1-year professional level work experience.
Minimum 6 months customer service, hospitality, or housekeeping experience.
Previous experience in a client service-oriented field.
Willingness and ability to learn new skills.
