Overview The Cook is responsible for the preparation of food for all meals for participants and staff at Overnight Camp facility or other assigned area. Measures and mixes ingredients according to recipe, using a varietyof kitchen utensils and equipment Ensures compliance with proper food handling techniques and safety procedures Observes and tests food being prepared by tasting, smelling and piercing with fork to determine that food iscooked properly and thoroughly before being served Responsible for maintaining a clean workspace and complying with applicable health and safety codes May bake bread, rolls, cakes and pastry Prepares meals by following set recipes.
