Temporary Summer Custodian LOCATION Worcester DEPARTMENT NAME Custodial - JM DIVISION NAME Worcester Polytechnic Institute - WPI JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY The WPI Facilities Department is hiring temporary summer custodial staff to support cleaning and maintenance efforts across campus. Schedule: Saturdays and Sundays, 7:00 AM - 12:00 PM Start Date: Saturday, May 31, 2025 Pay Rate: $15.00 per hour JOB DESCRIPTION Responsibilities include (but are not limited to): Sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and vacuuming hallways, stairs, offices, bathrooms, and other campus areas Emptying trash and recycling containers Moving and relocating furniture, small equipment, and personal belongings Assisting with the setup and breakdown of indoor and outdoor events Requirements: A valid work permit is required for applicants aged 14 to 17 FLSA STATUS United States of America (Non-Exempt) WPI is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
