This position requires forward-thinking individuals who strive to provide excellent service, anticipate needs, and go above and beyond for our members with every experience. Servers must effectively communicate with all roles in the Clubhouse to ensure the best service for every member. Maintaining a clean and organized workspace while delivering outstanding service is essential to success in this role. Job Summary: The server is the face of our restaurant and responsible for our members' experiences. Food server responsibilities include ensuring our tables are clean and tidy when guests arrive, presenting menus, and serving food and beverages. You need to be quick on your feet and have a polite and friendly attitude. Your ultimate goal will be to provide high-quality service that enhances the hospitality experience for our members. Responsibilities Prepare restaurant tables with special attention to sanitation and order. Attend to members' needs upon entrance to the club. Present restaurant menus and assist members in selecting food and beverages. Take and serve orders accurately and efficiently. Utilize accurate table numbers and seat numbers with every order. Answer questions or make recommendations based on menu knowledge. Create and maintain personal connections with members to enhance their experience. Collaborate effectively with other restaurant servers, kitchen, and bar staff. Handle complaints or problems with professionalism and a positive attitude. Issue bills and process payments efficiently. Maintain a deep understanding of food and beverage menus. Ensure high-end service standards for our members. Answer phones and take reservations professionally. Read and utilize the table map in JAM to provide seamless service. Execute beginning-of-shift setup duties. Perform end-of-shift cleaning and polishing responsibilities. Properly carry large food trays to ensure efficient service. Engage with all members in a welcoming and professional manner. Assist in setting up, breaking down, and working occasional buffets, weddings, and special events. Maintain a clean and organized service section throughout shifts. Perform wine service to club standards. Must be proficient in table numbers and seat numbers. Demonstrate the ability to successfully perform the roles and responsibilities of a server assistant when needed. Be proficient in using technology such as Jonas from the POS and iPads to successfully provide service while maintaining an engaging experience with the members. Maintain education on allergy precautions and popular accommodations for food & beverage. Successfully stay updated and pass all trainings including but not limited to BarSmarts certifications, monthly staff trainings, company-wide service trainings, daily preshift meetings, and food, beverage & service quizzes. Requirements and Skills Proven restaurant serving or waitstaff experience. Sufficient understanding and ability to speak English to successfully perform the role. Proficiency in using POS systems (Jonas) and iPads for order management and service. Strong attention to cleanliness and safety standards. Excellent people skills with a friendly attitude and patience. Responsible and trustworthy demeanor. Ability to carry up to 50 lbs.
