Receptionist (Part-Time)

Receptionist (Part-Time) Quarryville Presbyterian Retirement Community is currently seeking customer service focused individuals to join our Customer Service Team as a Receptionist! Schedule: Part-Time, Hours alternate + 7:00am-1:00pm one weekend/holiday + 1:00pm-7:00pm the other weekend/holiday + Opportunities for additional shifts vary Compensation: $10.00-$11.31/hour Primary Responsibilities (including, but not limited to): + Greet and direct residents, staff and visitors, as needed + Answer phone calls promptly and politely. Check voicemail and email throughout shift and respond appropriately + Sort all internal mail, post and sort outgoing mail + Performs cashier duties, including requests for petty cash, stamps, postage, batteries and other items + Coordinates internal room reservations for residents, team members, and visitors + Promptly directs urgent issues or emergencies to the appropriate department or staff person according to established guidelines + Coordinates fire, severe weather, and other emergency response efforts according to established guidelines + Closes or opens, as needed, according to established guidelines Requirements: + High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred + At least 2 years of prior customer service experience preferred + Demonstrate excellent customer service skills + Basic computer skills are required + Most importantly, this position requires dependability, initiative and the desire to be a part of a team that's main focus is to bring our mission to life for our team and residents: + To provide for the spiritual, physical, emotional and social needs of our residents through high quality facilities, services and personal care in a manner faithful to the Bible and honoring our Lord, Jesus Christ.
