POSITION SUMMARY: A porter's job involves a range of duties to ensure a facility is clean, well- maintained, and safe for guests and employees. They perform general cleaning and maintenance tasks. Key responsibilities include cleaning common areas, restrooms, and potentially serving as a greeter.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and safety of a facility, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, emptying trash, and sanitizing surfaces
- Porters interact with guests, answering questions, providing directions, and assisting with their needs
- Porters may also run errands, assist with minor repairs, and support other staff members
- They play a role in maintaining a safe environment by reporting hazards and ensuring
compliance with safety procedures
- Light maintenance tasks: Changing light bulbs, unclogging drains, and painting
- Monitoring supplies and restocking new ones as needed
- Assisting with events. Setting up and breaking down furniture and equipment for club events
and activities.

QUALIFICATION:
- Ability to lift heavy objects (50 pounds) and perform tasks that require physical endurance
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with guests, residents, or
customers
- Ability to manage time efficiently and keep supplies and areas organized
- Basic understanding of tools and equipment, and the ability to perform minor repairs
- Ensuring cleanliness and safety standards are met
- Willingness to work various shifts, weekends, and holidays
