The community youll be caring for: AdventHealth North Pinellas

The role youll contribute:

Cooks, prepares, presents, and serves food items. The Lead Production will assist Chef to ensure that food is prepared in a manner, which is nutritious, safe, properly flavored and in compliance with District, USDA, and accrediting agency standards for quality. Also will assist Chef in putting away deliveries, placing food orders, participating in production line up meetings, print out production sheets for following week, helping with inventory and assist with the training of new employees. Will also assist in supervising production staff.

The value youll bring to the team:

_ Plans regular and modified menus according to established guidelines._

_ Plans and prepares menus for special events as may be requested by the Client. Assist production staff meet production needs._

_ Directs preparation of all food by the kitchen staff. Follows standardized recipes, portioning and presentation standards. Completes and utilizes daily production worksheets and waste log sheets. Tastes completed meals to ensure quality._

_ Projects and practices consistent ownership attributes, which provide a high level of customer service at all points of contact._

Qualifications

The expertise and experiences youll need to succeed :

High School Diploma or GED.

1 years cook experience within a healthcare system.

ServSafe certified within three (3) months of date of hire.
