Cleaner / Janitor for Fitness Facility

20 Hours : Tuesday through Friday 10am to 2pm and Sundays 8am - noon.

In this job, you will:

• Ensure the Club (Fitness Center) is attractive and clean by completing all duties listed on the daily schedule and maintains upkeep of assigned area and equipment. Will perform wet and dry mopping, dusting, trash removal, recycling, window washing, shower and sauna cleaning, pressure washing, painting, vacuuming, and general cleaning.
• Lift and move heavy weights and exercise equipment to clean behind and under it.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with other club staff, members and guests.
• Operate cleaning equipment and works with cleaning supplies (cleaning equipment, chemical compounds, solvents, cleaners, and solutions in dry, liquid, powder, spray, and aerosol forms).
• Record and reports all needed repairs; repairs as directed.
• Ensure facility is secure during shift and report incidents and hazardous conditions to supervisor.
• Replace soap, paper towels, and other supplies.
• Maintain laundry (towels) to ensure consistent supply for members.
• Open and close the facility, including arming and disarming alarm system.
• Set up furniture for events.
