Room Service Order Taker

Basic Functions:

The Order Taker is responsible for providing excellent customer service to guests while taking and entering their food and beverage orders. The ideal candidate must be able to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment and have excellent listening and communication skills. Duties include greeting guests, taking orders accurately and entering them into the point-of-sale system, providing accurate information about menu items, answering questions, and providing additional assistance as needed. The Order Taker must also be able to effectively handle multiple orders and payments simultaneously

Order Taker Duties

• Greet and assist customers in a polite and friendly manner

• Answer customer questions about menu items and provide information on product availability

• Process customer orders accurately and in a timely manner

• Collect payment from customers

• Package orders for customers

• Maintain cleanliness of the dining area
