Job Details Sister restaurant to Michelin starred n/naka, n/soto is a California Inspired Japanese izakaya by Chef Niki Nakayama, Chef Carole Iida-Nakayama and led by Chef Yoji Tajima and Chef De Cuisine Gregory Otero
Located in Mid-city, we are currently seeking line cooks with experience and interest in working with Japanese food and restaurants to join our team. Utilizing the best ingredients we can source we strive to remain seasonal and true to the Californian cuisine while remaining Japanese at heart.
You will have the opportunity to learn about fish, binchotan cookery, Japanese food and culture in a fun environment focused on learning and development. We encourage our employees at N/Soto to learn, be creative and have fun in an open and fun environment.
Skills and Requirements:
- Minimum 1-2 years kitchen experience
- Knowledge of Japanese Ingredients is a plus
- Exceptional work ethic
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work cleanly and efficiently with a sense of urgency
- Ability to multitask
- Great communication skills
- Willingness to learn
- Must be willing to work weekends
- Must be willing to work 5 days (Wednesday to Sunday)

Compensation DetailsCompensation: Hourly ($18.00 - $21.00) plus tips
