Stoa is a wine bar and market rooted in simplicity, soul, and hospitality. We serve thoughtfully sourced wines, beautiful cheese and charcuterie boards, pizza, and small plates all designed to foster conversation and savoring life. During the day, Stoa offers a gourmet deli experience and curated retail; by night, it transforms into a candlelit space of warmth and connection.

Next door, we're launching Cafe Cache a French bistro-style cafe inspired by the charm and whimsy of Moonrise Kingdom.
By day: sandwiches, crepes, and quiches with grab-and-go coffee and a relaxed coworking atmosphere.
By night: rotisserie-style dinners, burgers, cozy corners, and string lights a place to unwind with a bottle of wine and something delicious.

Both spaces are guided by the same principle: real hospitality, delivered with thought and heart.

ABOUT THE ROLE
We re looking for a Front-of-House Lead to set the tone across both concepts someone with a deep understanding of hospitality, strong leadership instincts, and a gift for creating systems that run with or without them. You will be responsible for building the team, defining the rhythm of service, and ensuring every guest interaction feels personal and seamless.

This role requires tight coordination with our Kitchen Manager, thoughtful communication, and the ability to navigate between daytime cafe service and nighttime wine bar energy. You ll lead hiring, training, and daily execution across two complementary but distinct venues.

RESPONSIBILITIES
-Lead FOH operations at Stoa and Cache Cache with daily presence and polish
-Hire, onboard, and train all FOH staff with a focus on service, product knowledge, and culture
-Maintain close, proactive communication with the Kitchen Manager to ensure harmony between FOH and BOH
-Design and implement systems for scheduling, opening/closing, guest experience, and team accountability
-Actively manage the floor and assist in bar service when needed
-Write weekly performance reports and team updates for ownership
-Run pre-shift meetings, lead staff education, and reinforce a high standard of hospitality
-Foster a culture of warmth, respect, and professionalism where every team member thrives and grows

WHAT WE RE LOOKING FOR
-2+ years FOH leadership experience in thoughtful, fast-paced hospitality environments
-Experience with wine and bar service; confident behind the bar when needed
-Strong leadership and delegation skills clear, organized, and people-first
-Deep emotional intelligence; ability to teach, correct, and inspire with grace
-Comfortable switching gears between cafe service and wine bar energy
-Familiar with POS systems (both Toast and Square), scheduling tools, and Google Workspace
-A systems-builder who thinks long-term, not just day-to-day

BONUS IF YOU
-Have experience in new openings or managing multiple service styles
-Have worked in cafe, wine bar, or bistro-focused settings
-Are WSET-certified or have formal bar/wine training (not required, but appreciated)
-Are excited by the chance to shape a small, mighty hospitality brand from the ground up
