Job Description:

Easterseals NH provides exceptional services to ensure that all people with disabilities or specials needs and their families have equal opportunities to live, learn, work and play in their communities.

Our Adult Day Program provides a safe environment for older adults to engage in purposeful and meaningful activities throughout the day while interacting with their peers and our staff in a pleasant and fun environment. We also serve lunch on a daily basis, and we are looking for support in this way by adding a dishwasher to our team. This position is great for an individual looking to work and engage in a meaningful way with others.

The Dishwasher position is an opportunity to serve the community in a comfortable environment assisting a program that makes a major impact in a meaningful way.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure that dishes are sterilized appropriately for the assigned programs.
• Collect dishes from assigned programs.
• Wash dishes using the dishwashing machine being sure to follow sterilization requirements mandated by the CACFP.
• Return same dishes to proper programs.
• Ensure that customers in each program are not disturbed by dishwashing routine.
• Attend training and/ or meetings as assigned.
• Perform additional duties as requested.

Qualifications

• Ability to take step-by-step instructions, communicate with staff, and work effectively with others.
• Enjoy working in an environment with varying disabilities
• Capable of keeping a regular, prompt schedule

Compensation: $15.00 per hour

Schedule: Part-Time, 10 hours per week. Monday-Friday, 12:30PM-2:30PM with some flexibility in the hours
