Job Summary:
Ensures that all guests are treated in a prompt, professional and courteous manner.

Duties/Responsibilities:
- Sets the room for service, properly detailing all table accompaniments.
- Assist host in seating guest at beginning of shift and as needed.
- Acknowledges and greets guests by name when possible and develops a rapport with guests.
- Takes guest orders completely and accurately, making suggestions, using suggestive selling techniques to create a balanced meal.
- Describes dinner features as needed, including menu changes and daily additions.
- Is knowledgeable and able to respond to all guest inquiries in an accurate and professional manner.
- Accurately enters orders into the point of sale.
- Ensures that tables are properly maintained at all times, and is consistently aware of progress of tables.
- Responsible for delivering food and beverages to correct table and guest at appropriate time in the correct manner. Including serving wine and champagne in the appropriate manner.
- Follows through on special requests.
- Responsible for all aspects of the dining experience and must communicate well with kitchen, hosts, and management.
- Presents check and handles payment in a timely fashion that is appropriate for each meal period.
- Bids guest farewell.
- Responsible for ensuring side stations are completely stocked prior to and at the end of the night.
- Provides prompt, courteous service to all guests and team members while maintaining a friendly and pleasant atmosphere.
- Provides quality service to both internal and external guests, specifically maintaining established quality standards for timely food and beverage.
- Follows fundamental standards of hospitality by making eye contact with every guest, smiling and offering a warm and friendly greeting with the proper verbiage: “Good morning, afternoon, or evening, thank you, ma’am or sir, may I?”
- Maintain a safe and sanitary workplace.
- One minute to greet and acknowledge the guest, three minutes to provide their needs or wants, and checks back as appropriate with eye contact or words.

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years as server in a casual full-service restaurant.
- Self-starter with a creative mind and a track record of putting ideas into practice and assessing results
Certifications, Licenses, and/or Registrations:
- Gaming license/registration as required by jurisdiction(s).
- Ability to obtain a food handlers card.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Excellent verbal skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization.
- Demonstrates the ability to establish credibility and rapport with operating leaders.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to work while standing for hours at a time.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
- Ability to work flexible shifts and days of the week, including holidays.
- Ability to work in an environment with moderate to loud noise, bright lights, smoke, and dust.
