This job was posted by : For more information,please see: position is responsible for preparing and serving patient and staffmeals, keeping kitchen clean, assuring patients have accurate menus andmeals, completing performance audits, and other duties as assigned. Willclean and sanitize galley equipment, kitchen appliances, and work areasto ensure cleanliness, sanitation, and functional operation. Cook foodsaccording to menus, recipes, and special dietary or nutritionalrestrictions, or numbers of portions to be served. Compile and maintainrecords of food use and expenditures. Experience with restaurant/institutional cooking is preferred. Must be certified by Dept. of Healthand Welfare as a food service sanitation worker; UNICODE certifiedwithin 6 months of hire. Must be able to interact with patients, staff,visitors and others courteously and professionally. Pay begins at\$11.25/hr, plus depending on experience.
