NY1535459Housekeeper Part time for the Mansion House in Oneida, NY. ABOUT THE MANSION HOUSE:The 93,000 square foot Mansion House is a National Historic Landmark constructed between 1861 and 1914. It is owned and operated by Oneida Community Mansion House (OCMH). OCMH is a non-profit educational organization chartered in 1987 by the New York State Board of Regents. The building houses a museum, bookstore, residential apartments, overnight lodging, and meeting space. The total property encompasses 200 acres including the Oneida Community Cemetery, historic gardens and ground and the country's first corporate golf course. PURPOSE: The housekeeper position exists to maintain the overall cleanliness of the guest rooms, museum spaces, and public areas of the Mansion House. RELATIONSHIPS: This position reports to the Hospitality Supervisor. Position requires contact with other staff, residents, volunteers and the public. JOB DESCRIPTION: Clean, sanitize and tidy guest rooms, performing tasks such as changing and washing bedding and linens, cleaning floors, walls, windows, furniture, bathrooms, and fixtures. Clean common areas and museum areas to provide the optimal guest experience. May perform other duties as assigned. HOURS: 7AM - 3PM (some flexibility, please inquire). Part-time, weekends required. Candidates will need their own reliable transportation.REQUIREMENTS: High school diploma or the equivalent and reliable transportation to and from work. Previous experience is desired. Must be able to work independently and responsibly and as part of team. Must be able to bend, lift at least 30 lbs., walk up and down multiple stairs and stand for long periods.
