Banquets Bartender Oneida Casino Hotel Green Bay, WI Job Details Part-time From $7.25 an hour 1 day ago Benefits Employee assistance program Qualifications Basic math Cash register POS Bartending Entry level Full Job Description Job overview As a Banquets Bartender , you will fill a guest services role in supporting your hotel's financial goals of the daily operation of the banquet facilities and/or other areas of the Food and Beverage departments. You will provide prompt and courteous beverage service to banquet guests during banquet/ catering functions to ensure the highest quality of product and service standards to ensure guest satisfaction and maximize revenues and profitability. The ideal candidate will: Have a combination of education, training or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities. Bartending experience is required. Be incredibly friendly, customer centric, and radiate a positive and accommodating attitude while interacting with customers. Have basic mathematical skills necessary to operate a cash register, make change, total guest checks, count total bank, prepare cash drops, total all other charges, and understand portion sizes Performs pre- and post-shift side work; set-up, condiments, etc. Have sufficient manual dexterity in hands in order to use a knife to make garnish, pick up glassware and bottles, scoop ice, mix drinks, and reach overhead to retrieve stock. Clears table after service. Removes trays of dirty dishes, silverware and glassware to kitchen for cleaning. Clears room at end of banquet of all props and centerpieces and properly returns to storage. Responds quickly to guest requests in a friendly manner. Follows up to ensure guest satisfaction. Ability to operate a keyboard and point of sale procedures to pre-check an order and close out a check. Provides a professional image at all times through appearance and dress.
