As a Guest Service Ambassador at the Holiday Inn Express - Branson Green Mountain Drive, you are the face of our hotel and a key part of the guest experience. You will provide warm, genuine hospitality from check-in to check-out and beyond. Your goal is to create memorable stays for every guest by anticipating their needs, resolving concerns, and delivering exceptional service that reflects the Holiday Inn Express brand standards.
Responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities:
--- Greet and welcome all guests in a friendly and professional manner.
--- Check guests in and out efficiently and accurately using hotel software (Opera).
--- Provide information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and nearby services.
--- Provide ticketing service to many of the local shows and attractions that are nearby using proprietary software.
--- Respond promptly and effectively to guest inquiries, requests, and concerns.
--- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front desk area.
--- Process payments and maintain accurate records of transactions.
--- Handle guest complaints with empathy and follow through to ensure satisfaction.
--- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to fulfill guest needs.
--- Assist with light lobby and public spaces cleaning, as needed.
--- Uphold all safety, security, and company policies at all times.
--- Promote IHG One Rewards membership loyalty and encourage guest enrollment.
Qualifications:
--- High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality experience preferred.
--- Friendly, outgoing personality with a strong desire to serve others.
--- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
--- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
--- Proficiency with computers and reservation systems (Opera, or similar, is a plus).
--- Must be available to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
--- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs. occasionally.
