About the Role: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Landscape Technician to join our team. As a Landscape Technician, you will be responsible for performing a variety of landscaping tasks to enhance the beauty and functionality of outdoor spaces. This is a hands-on position that requires knowledge of various landscaping techniques and abilities.

Responsibilities:

Ensures safe and skilled operation of small powered equipment: Maintenance Vehicles, Blowers, Rotary Mowers, String Trimmers and Edgers.

Prepares soil for planting beds and lawn areas.

Operates mechanical equipment such as mowers, weed trimmers and utility vehicles.

Plants trees, shrubs, turf grass and flowers.

Prunes and trims trees and shrubs.

Mowing

Ensure that at the end of the day the equipment and hand tools are thoroughly cleaned and then stored in its proper location.

Maintains a clean landscape environment through trash removal and debris cleanup.

Maintains landscape through application of mulch, water, fertilizer, and grooming.

Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.

Performs other duties as required.

Requirements:

Prior work experience in a hotel environment or similar role is ideal, but willing to train the right person. We are dedicated to thoroughly training & developing our team into hotel leaders through interactive teamwork in a positive work environment!

Must be able to work a flexible evening schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs

Able to stand and walk for extended periods

Excellent English communication skills and able to read, write and speak fluently

Bi-lingual (English and Spanish speaking) is a plus
