SUMMARY : The House Person cleans, sweeps, mops, and restocks hotel areas such as hallways, stairways, food preparation areas, kitchens, laundry rooms, common areas, restrooms, and other similar areas, always maintaining a safe work environment for the team members and a clean, safe and appeasing public area for the guests.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Cleans, sweeps, vacuums, mops and restocks a designated area.
- Dusts both high and low areas. Wipes down various surfaces.
- Sweets, mops, scrubs, strips, extract, waxes, buffs, vacuums, etc. all types of floors.
- Spot cleans all walls and other wall coverings.
- Wash and polish cigarette urns daily.
- Uses appropriate equipment and cleaning solutions for each task.
- Cleans all vending machine areas and linen closets.
- Cleans all fire escapes daily.
- Pick up and throw down the proper chute all linen and trash from attendant carts.
- Complete other related tasks as assigned by Housekeeping management.
- Must be available for scheduled work.
- Must exhibit the Family Style Service model at all times.

Must possess and be able to maintain the applicable regional Gaming card(s) and/or License(s), if any.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Must be able to effectively communicate in English. Must be able to read and write simple lists, interoffice memorandums, and business correspondence.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
