Groundskeeper

POSITION SUMMARY

The employee in this position is responsible for providing superior service to both internal and external guests. All employees are required to ensure our guests are afforded a remarkable experience. The grounds person is accountable for preventative maintenance of all of the facilities, property and equipment.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provides superior guest service, positively affects interactions with guests and employees, and has the resiliency to deal with difficult guests in all types of business conditions and the ability to work effectively and courteously with fellow employees.
• Responsible for cutting, weeding, and edging the grass, raking the leaves and taking care of the parking lots.
• Responsible for planting, removing, and relocating plants, flowers, trees, and bushes.
• Removing all trash and debris from the parking areas and grounds. Emptying trash containers.
• Responsible for ensuring all signs, posts, chain fences are straight and secure.
• Ordering supplies for plants and equipment to maintain the grounds.
• Ensure the safety and security of all guests and employees.
• Completes all company-required training within designated time frames.
• Responsible for snow removal.
• Creating a clean, safe, friendly and fun atmosphere for all guests and employees.
• Report to work in a neat, clean and pressed uniform. Well-groomed hair and personal hygiene are essential.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
