Weekend Night Shift Lead

We are looking for a Night Shift Lead to help guide our night operations, support team development, and ensure our delicious baked goods are made and delivered to the highest standards. salary: $23 - $26 per hour
shift: Third
work hours: 6 PM - 2:30 AM
education: High School

Responsibilities

As the Night Shift Lead, you’ll play a critical role in maintaining production excellence and a safe, efficient work environment. You’ll also step in as Night Manager when needed. Your responsibilities will include:

• Leadership & Oversight
  
  
  • Provide hands-on leadership throughout the night shift.
    
    
  • Act as the Night Manager in their absence.
    
    
  • Lead by example in enforcing safety, quality, and productivity standards.
    
    
• Training & Team Support
  
  
  • Train new team members on production processes, safety protocols, and quality expectations.
    
    
  • Support skill development and ensure team readiness.
    
    
• Production Management
  
  
  • Supervise all aspects of night shift operations including baking, finishing, packing, quality assurance, sanitation, and staffing.
    
    
  • Ensure products are baked and packed according to specification.
    
    
  • Identify and resolve production or product issues in real time.
    
    
• Compliance & Documentation
  
  
  • Enforce Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and Sanitation Standards (SSOPs).
    
    
  • Maintain accurate records and report discrepancies in production or order fulfillment.
    
    
• End-of-Shift Duties
  
  
  • Oversee nightly cleanup, equipment shutdown, and preparation for the next day’s operations.
