This is an office critical position. Candidates for this role will need to be in or around the Milwaukee, WI area and will be required to be on site.
Hours:
Part Time - 23.5 Hours / Week
Pay Rate/Benefits:
$11/Hour plus benefits, 4 sick days, 5 paid vacation days, and 14 paid holidays
About the role:
As Dishwasher for Taste of Home, reporting to the Prep Kitchen Manager, you are responsible for assisting multiple kitchens and studios in washing and maintaining a clean, organized stock of dishes and cookware using commercial dishwashing equipment or by hand. You will circulate throughout these areas to pick up dirty items and return them to the proper cooking or storage areas after being cleaned and dried. This position also ensures the dishwashing area is maintained as a clean, safe and sanitary facility.

Youre organized, efficient and thorough as you rotate throughout the many locations that produce dirty dishes and the warewashing room. While you work well independently, you also enjoy being part of a team of friendly, caring individuals. You are eager to take on new and different tasks and adept at keeping team leaders informed of your progress. You notify your supervisor of schedule changes in a clear and timely manner.

Your day-to-day:
- Wash dishes, utensils and cooking equipment through operating the commercial dishwasher in warewashing or by hand
- Carefully hand-wash prop dishes, keeping separated from all other dishes
- Carefully transport and store clear dishes in the proper storage area, kitchen or studio
- Maintain daily cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, walk-in coolers and storage areas - This includes, but is not limited to, wiping counters, carts, coolers, trays, shelving, stovetops and ovens
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Previous operating experience with commercial grade dishwashing equipment in a food service setting required
- Ability to stand for extended periods and bend/stoop frequently
- Ability to effectively understand and carry out directions or guidance provided to you
- Ability to work in a team environment, calmly and effectively under pressure
