Maritime Boat Club is seeking professional, detail-oriented Kitchen Servers (Food Runners/Expeditors) to join our opening team. Located in San Francisco and led by Chef Felix Santos (Quince, Sorrel, Atelier Crenn), the restaurant offers a seasonal, seafood-forward menu that celebrates thoughtful sourcing and ingredient-driven cooking. The dining room strikes a balance between refined and relaxed, with a service model rooted in genuine hospitality and excellence. Maritime Boat Club operates as a small, independent restaurant within the hotel.
As a Kitchen Server, youll play a critical role in bridging the kitchen and dining room, ensuring that each dish is presented accurately, beautifully, and promptly. Youll assist in expediting service and delivering dishes with poise and professionalism. Success in this role requires exceptional communication, attention to detail, and a deep respect for the flow of service and the guest experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Coordinate with the kitchen and dining room to ensure timely and accurate delivery of all food items
Run dishes from the kitchen to the dining room with care and urgency, maintaining composure and grace
Communicate clearly with servers, chefs, and support staff to manage timing and special requests
Maintain deep knowledge of the menu, including ingredients, modifications, and allergens
Uphold cleanliness, organization, and efficiency at the pass and in the service station
Support bussing, restocking, and sidework to ensure smooth and seamless service
Participate in pre-service meetings, menu tastings, and staff education
Contribute to a team culture centered on mutual respect, shared goals, and pride in hospitality
QUALIFICATIONS
1-2 year of experience in fine dining or high-standard restaurant environments
Strong communication and coordination skills
Ability to stay calm, organized, and efficient during busy service
Excellent attention to detail, with a passion for precision and presentation
CA Food Handler Certification (or ability to obtain prior to start)
A collaborative mindset and strong sense of professionalism
A desire to support the team and enhance the overall guest experience

Compensation DetailsCompensation: Hourly ($18.67 - $19.50) plus tips
