Job Summary:
This position is responsible for overseeing all duties and operational functions in the Locker Rooms as it relates to the use of the cleanliness and orderliness of the locker rooms, showers and wet areas.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provides the necessary amenities used in the locker rooms ensuring that they are stocked, neat and orderly.
- Ensures that the safety of all participants in the room by constant monitoring of the cleanliness as it relates to health and safety issues, i.e. wet floors, towels or other clutter on the floor, razors left out, etc.
- Meets and greets new and existing members/guests promptly when they enter or use the locker rooms
- Solves member complaints as they arise.
- Return clean clothing to lockers
- Keep area immaculate for members
- Adheres to all of the various written mandatory standards of operation, policies, procedures, manuals, memos, oral instructions, etc., all of which go to make up the essential functions of the job
- Collect used towels from campus, and transport to laundry areas.
- Assist other team members in keeping the locker areas clean
- Other projects as assigned

RequirementsQualification/Requirements:
- Customer service attitude
- Must be able to communicate with members
- Ability to multi-task
- Basic knowledge of exercise equipment and biomechanics
- General knowledge of exercise equipment maintenance and operation
- Functional knowledge of spas, whirlpools and steam room as well as AV systems
- Knowledge of fitness programming preferred
Education/Training/Experience:
- Minimum 1 year of custodial experience preferred
- Certified in CPR/First Aid/ AED
