Position Summary:
The Janitor is responsible for daily maintenance of the office and warehouse. The Janitor will be responsible for cleaning and sanitizing offices, meeting rooms, bathrooms, kitchen and dining room and public areas.

- Perform general cleanup of all areas of the building as directed
- Manage routine upkeep of exterior areas, yard and parking lot
- Complete non-routine cleaning according to specified job orders
- Remove garbage and recycling daily and prepare bins for weekly pick-up
- Handle emergency cleaning and upkeep requests
- Ensure rooms are maintained and fully equipped
- Clean as outlined in the Master Sanitation Schedule
- Willingness to work early morning or late night shifts
- Ability to work well under minimal supervision
- Capacity to take direction
- Strong attention to detail
- Physically capable of lifting and moving objects up to 50 pounds
- Relocate, move and adjust office furniture as necessary
- Ensure that the highest degree of sanitation and housekeeping is maintained
- Advise Manager and advise on pest control services as needed
- Use on occasion, power equipment as required, handcarts, forklift, pallet jacks, etc.

Education, Experiences, Certificates/Licenses and/or Registrations:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED);
- 6 months+ years janitorial experience
Work Environment and Safety Equipment Required:
While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit, walk and stand to perform work. The employee is required to reach with hands and arms, smell, talk or hear. The employee must be able to lift, push, pull or move up to fifty (50) pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision and ability to adjust focus. The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate.
