Custodian - West Elementary Location: West Elementary Hourly Rate: $15.91 hr. Begin Date: June 9, 2025 Date of Posting: May 23, 2025 Deadline to Apply: until filled Physical demands would include upper/lower body strength to stand, walk, bend, stoop, shovel snow, ability to carry at least 50 pounds for 50 ft.,operate various pieces of cleaning equipment such as sweeper, mop, broom, scrubber/polisher also shovel snow, lift at least 50 pounds and carry 50 feet. Environmental demands include being inside an enclosed building for most of the work day, Occasional exposure to weather extremes, occasional exposure to high levels of noise, and occupational exposure to bodily fluids. Hours for the custodian will be 6AM -2:30PM in the summer, and 2PM- 10:30PM during the school year.. Duties include sweeping and cleaning the common areas of the building, cleaning tables in between lunches, clean ups and spills throughout the day, and all other duties as needed during that time frame. An expanded criminal history background check is required and will be processed through the Administrative Services Center.
