Cleaning Technician/Porter

The job description is as follows:Qualifications:Education: High School diploma or equivalentExperience: Previous experience as a custodial is desirableSkills: The position requires effective overall written and oral communication skillsAbility to lift up to 55 poundsAbility to stand and/or walk for long periods of timeAbility to work on ladders of varying heightsExposure to cleaning agentsPossible contact with blood borne pathogens and/or bodily fluidsSafety:1. General understanding of OSHA, fire prevention, life, and safety regulations2. Ensures that unsafe conditions are corrected in timely manner3. Learns and ensures compliance with all company, local, state, and federal safety rules4. Immediately report all unsafe conditions to managementDuties:Clean outside of building and parking lot dailyClean, vacuum and remove all trash from the maintenance office dailyClean, mop and remove all trash from staff bathroom daily. Re-supply bathroom with necessitiesSeep, vacuum and mop lobby area, entry doorway and clean all ashtraysClean all window sillsSweep stairwells
