Maintenance Mechanic

NOW HIRING - DIRECT HIRE - IMMEDIATE START 1st Shift Maintenance Mechanic – Injection Molding Facility (Maintain and repair production, facility, and injection molding equipment in a high-performance manufacturing environment.) Location: McHenry, IL Shift: 1st Shift – 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM (or flexible 6:30 AM to 2:30 PM) Pay: $40–$47/hr DOE Role Summary: Randstad USA is seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join a fast-paced, injection molding production team. This position is responsible for executing work orders, performing troubleshooting, and maintaining production and facility systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems. Key Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot and repair injection molding machines and facility systems.
• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance across the plant.
• Interpret and follow hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical blueprints.
• Maintain proper documentation and utilize CMMS systems for recordkeeping.
• Operate general shop equipment and tools.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure minimal downtime and optimal equipment performance.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and uphold safety procedures.
• Perform housekeeping and equipment area clean-up after repairs.
• Work overtime, holidays, and on-call shifts as required.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• 4+ years of journeyman-level mechanical or maintenance experience required.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs. on a regular basis and climb ladders as needed.
• Proficient in at least 4 of the following areas: injection molding, pneumatics, hydraulics, HVAC, refrigeration, mechanical systems, and electrical (single/3-phase up to 480V).
• Ability to read and interpret hydraulic, electrical, and facility schematics.
• Must bring own toolbox and tools.
• Working knowledge of troubleshooting electrical systems and running general shop machinery.
• Team player with strong communication skills and the ability to work under pressure.

Compensation & Benefits:
