Job Description
Our Sea Mountain Resort is seeking a Laundry Attendant to join our amazing team on a part-time basis! As a key member of the Resorts Operations Team, the Laundry Attendant is responsible for efficiently and effectively managing the laundry operations at the resort.
As a Laundry Attendant, you will:
- Sort, pre-treat and separate laundry by category for assembly
- Dump linen from the carts to the belt, and keep up with the pace of the sorters
- Fold laundry items-such as sheets, pillowcases, washcloths, towels, blankets, and bedspreads-by hand and using machines
- Process quality linen to tower folder machine
- Process sheets through the ironing machine
- Fold all the blankets, duvets, and mattress pads by sizes
- When processing linen through the ironing machine, tower folder, and hand fold, remove stained and damaged linen to the designated area
- Catch the linen from the conveyor belt and place it in designated metros by item
- Feed linen in flatwork ironer, and towel folder at a productive pace
- Clean work area daily, including cleaning of washers and dryers
- Remove linen from washers and dryers
- Hang, bags, fold, and bundle clothes for delivery
- Meet all established productivity requirements for processing linens
- Other duties may be assigned

- One year of laundry or housekeeping experience preferred
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required
- Detail oriented with good organizational skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to interact with co-workers and guests via verbal and written communication.
- Ability to demonstrate good judgment when dealing with guests and staff members.
- Must be able to regularly lift, pull, push, and or/move up to 50 pounds.
- Bilingual, English/Spanish is a plus
