Looking to hire an "EXPERIENCED" Sandwich Maker/Prep Cook with "STRONG" commercial kitchen skills but most "SPECIFICALLY", someone who has experience making Cheesesteaks and similar style hot sandwiches.

Must have a Solid Work Ethic, Hustle mentality, ability to work FAST, Organized and Clear understanding of the kitchen principle of "CLEAN AS YOU GO" mentality!
Comfortable working in a team atmosphere in an often Very fast-paced, high-demand, environment for a takeout restaurant located in the West Oak Lane section of the city.
(WE ARE NOT LOOKING TO HIRE SOMEONE TO TEACH HOW TO COOK)
Cooks with a STRONG "Knowledge of overall Commercial Kitchens and Closing Procedures" will be "HIGHLY" considered!! If your invited to interview, you can "Expect" to be asked about these things should you apply.
You will be "expected" to be able verbally articulate how to properly break down, sanitize/clean, close and Prep for the next days operation.
(Current Serv Safe certificate is a Plus)
Duties will include "BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO", making grilled sandwiches, helping with setting and prepping a Hot Food line, wide range of food prep including cutting of vegetables and meats, making gravy, mac n cheese, seasoning foods etc., setting an oven, use of and cleaning of Deep Fryers, warmers, cleaning, dishwashing and closing procedures.
"DEPENDABILITY" is a MUST!!! "Frequent call outs and last minute call outs will Absolutely NOT be tolerated and will bring about separation QUICK!! Applicants must be capable of working independently, with little to no supervision and able to follow verbal instructions easily.
*FULL TRANSPARENCY: We're not interested in anyone with "Substance abuse or Recreational activities" that have them coming to work either intoxicated, high or otherwise compromised and that includes with regards to Hygiene issues
*Our "Hours of Operation" are: Wed thru Sunday 12pm till 7:30pm, "start time" is 11:00am till closing" Pay is $17.00hr to start, paid Bi-weekly, by "CHECK, NO ACCEPTIONS!
