Bartender at Poggio Trattoria

Poggio Trattoria, an award-winning Italian restaurant located just north of the Golden Gate Bridge in sunny downtown Sausalito, is looking for an experienced bartender to join our team. This position requires that you area available to work Sunday, Monday and Tuesday DAY shifts. Other shifts, including nights, may become available but daytime and Sunday availability are required and this could lead to full-time employment if desired.

Our Bartender position requires candidates to have the following:
* 1+ year of experience working in a full-service restaurant bar
* Strong communication skills with an emphasis on customer service and teamwork
* Comfortable in multitasking in a busy bar setting
* Proficient knowledge in liquor, wine, beer, especially Italian and California wines
* Ability to learn and describe our menus to guests
* Toast POS experience is a big plus but a warm personality and a positive welcoming attitude are even more important.

Hourly wage is minimum wage plus tips from guests and tip-out from servers. Free daily meals, discounted dining, and health insurance benefits available for full-time employees.
