Job Summary

Welcomes patients to the practice in person or on the telephone and performs general clerical duties.

Essential Functions

  • Welcomes patients/visitors in person or on the telephone and assists with way finding as needed.
  • Manages the paper correspondence at the practice, sorts and scans documents.
  • Facilitates patient flow by making sure patients are arrived and clinical staff are notified of patient arrivals.
  • Keeps medical office supplies stocked by anticipating inventory needs and monitoring office equipment.

Physical Requirements

Must be able to sit for long periods of time and work in a fast-paced office environment. Should be able to bend and lift up to 10 lbs.

Education, Experience and Certifications

High School Diploma or GED required. Basic computer experience required. Excellent telephone etiquette and customer service skills. Front desk practice experience preferred.
