JOB TITLE: Grill Cook
UNIT: FireLake Golf Course
SUPERVISOR: Food and Beverage Manager
FLSA: Non-exempt
PAY GRADE: Depends on experience
ALL FULL TIME POSITIONS: In addition to your pay, your salary also includes Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance. The Biweekly deduction from employee paycheck is $40.00 for Employee Only, $95.00 Employee plus Children, $120.00 Employee plus Spouse, and $140.00 Employee plus family.
Functions Statement:
Preparing a variety of dishes like smash burgers, corndogs, nachos and chili, ensuring they are cooked to the correct temperature and doneness.
RESPONSIBILITIES/TASKS:
Complies with health and safety regulations
Prepares a variety of foods for cooking in ovens, grills and fryers
Slicing, cutting, and shredding vegetables
Assumes 100% responsibility for quality of products served
Knows and complies consistently with standard portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards and kitchen rules and procedures
Maintains a clean and sanitary work area including tables, shelves, grills, broilers, fryers, convection ovens, flat top range and refrigeration equipment
SKILLS AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
High School diploma or GED equivalent
At least 2 years of experience or related field
Must be able to maintain and operate kitchen
Must have good customer service skills
Able to work any shift, start time, weekends and holidays
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Sitting or standing or walking for long periods of time; occasional bending, squatting, kneeling, stooping, good finger dexterity and feeling, frequent motions, talking and visual acuity
Frequent or occasional lifting (up to 75 pounds)
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Flexible hours (weekends, nights and holidays)
