Private family seeks an experienced, polished and energetic Housekeeper with an impeccable eye for aesthetics to assist with the maintenance and upkeep of their residence in Amagansett, NY. This is a full-time, year-round role that is open to Live-In, Live-out or a combination of the two. This position consists of a six-day work week in the summer with flexibility to work weekends and long hours in the high season and includes very generous PTO given in the winter months. The hours for this role vary, but typically run from breakfast through dinner service, with flexibility to work late into the evening. The ideal candidate is extremely detail oriented, meticulous and has a proactive approach to maintaining the style and design within the residence. Must be comfortable with occasional travel, working in a fast-paced environment and collaborating with a team. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Conducting museum-quality cleaning with specialized care for delicate surfaces including wood, glass, leather, furniture, furniture, antiques, silver, brass, etc. Maintaining residence for guest readiness at all times, focusing on aesthetics and cleanliness Laundry services and dry-cleaning management as needed Procuring household supplies; including grocery shopping and stock level management Hands-on formal and semi-formal food and beverage service Maintaining a sanitary and neat kitchen, ensuring counter tops are clear and clean at all times Meticulous assistance with packing/unpacking suitcase for travel, ensuring all items are accounted for Ability and willingness to run errands and carry out special requests as needed Additional Housekeeper duties as requested by the principal Requirements: Excellent references required from both current and previous employers Minimum 5 - 7 + years related experience working in a private home in a similar role or roles for a private family Knowledge and experience cleaning with proficiency in special surfaces (wood, glass, leather, furniture, antiques, silver, brass, etc. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Exceptional organizational skills and dedication to responsibilities Focus on maintaining aesthetics of residence at all times Aptitude to execute formal food and beverage service Physically agile; able to navigate an expansive residence and occasionally in a fast paced environment Legally able to work in the United States Compensation $65,000-$75,000 Posted: Tuesday, February 11, 2025 Job # 136
